My Moon, Chapter 26 pg 5
“But there’s something else I want to say…”
“What is it? Is you going to say the puppy is the best boyfriend in the world?”
Klaijai burst out laughing, shaking his head in denial. “Not at all.”
“…”
“I want to say… thank you, Panli. Thank you for everything.”
“…”
“I never thought something like this would happen to me. Never really thought it, honestly… even now, I still can’t believe it.”
“If you said I was going to get his heart broken by someone else again, that’d be more believable…” Klaijai said with a chuckle, but Panli knew it was his dark humor. Klaijai met his gaze before continuing, “…but you made me believe that all of this is real. Everything is true.”
“…”
“Thank you, Panli.”
Panli smiled and nodded before saying, “Can we trade the thanks for a promotion to boyfriend status?”
“…”
“Didn’t you say… it wouldn’t even take twenty-four hours?”
“…”
“Then puppy’s definitely becoming Klaijai’s boyfriend today.”
“…”
Panli furrowed his brows slightly and bit his lip when he saw the smaller man grinning widely. “Is the little rascal bluffing?”
“…”
“If you’re bluffing, your cheeks are gonna be sore for real… I’m warning you.”
The one being scolded laughed before saying, “I wasn’t kidding... At first, I planned to confess my feelings and then jump straight to being boyfriends.”
“...”
“But...”
“That’s it... I hate the word ‘but,’” Panli admitted he was acting childish. “That word always ruins things.”
Klaijai laughed delightedly, his slender hands moving to cradle Panli’s face before saying, “Hey, don’t fuss yet... listen to me first.”
Soft, mushy, and melting to the floor.
That’s Panli’s heart.
“For now, I will promote you to ‘special someone’ first... As for the final step—”
“...”
“I want to make it special. You’ve done so much for me—how could I just let you skip to the end so easily?”
“...”
Panli still had his brows furrowed tightly before asking, “So, what can a ‘special someone’ do? Can I be more jealous than before?”
“You can... You can do everything a boyfriend can.”
Klai said, laughing while looking at the big puppy throwing a tantrum over his broken promise. But as his sentence ended, a sly smile appeared on that devilishly handsome face. The once-tame puppy’s gaze turned dangerously heart-stopping. Klai swallowed hard as Panli leaned in closer. He pulled his hands from cradling the other’s face, letting them rest by his sides again.
“Then... I’ll just...”
The tall figure spoke while tightening his embrace. Klai noticed their noses lightly brushing, warm breath grazing his lips. His almond-shaped eyes flicked to the well-shaped lips of the other, and at that moment, Panli leaned in even closer.
Klai’s heart raced as Panli pressed a gentle kiss to his lips. A large hand moved to cradle his face, and his pale eyelids slowly closed as warm lips deepened the kiss.
Klai kissed back tentatively, as someone experiencing their first kiss. But with a skilled guide like Panli, the first kiss wasn’t bad at all. Their lips pressed together seamlessly, leaving no gap. Klai let the other claim his lips for a long moment before Panli pulled back slowly, as if reluctant to let the night end.
Klai’s heart pounded harder as he met Moon’s gaze. He pursed his lips to suppress a smile. The tall figure chuckled before leaning down to kiss him again. This time, Panli kissed more intensely, leaving Klai breathless.
A large hand slipped under his shirt, touching his skin. His body went weak as the hand caressed his back. In the next moment, he was lifted off the ground. Klai wrapped both arms around the thick neck and hooked his legs around the slim waist, clinging for support.
Klai tried to pull his lips away to catch his breath. Panli, giving him a moment to rest, murmured something while carrying him into the bedroom.
“Klaijai… can we kiss a bit more?”
His heart raced at the sound of Panli’s husky voice. Klai didn’t respond, but he let those curved lips press against his once more. He never imagined that after one kiss…
The next ones…
“Mmm…”
Would be nearly impossible to stop.
“Hhhm…”
“I can’t breathe…”
But that… depended on the person he was kissing.
Yes… the desire depended on the one giving the kiss.
The taller figure laid Klai on the bed and straddled him. Klai pressed his lips tightly together as he met those long, almond-shaped eyes. Gone was the gentle gaze of the loyal pup; now, only the cunning look of the charming Panli remained.
“Two-minute break enough?”
Klai admitted he wanted to keep kissing, but his heart, pounding like a drum, begged for a pause—it was almost too much. “Didn’t you say you’d say ‘I love you’ all night?”
“…”
“I never said I’d kiss you all night.”
“…”
“You didn’t say it beforehand… so you can’t do it.”
Panli burst out laughing before saying, “Well, here it is… my way of saying ‘I love you.’”
“Nonsense… the pup’s making things up.”
“Not nonsense…” Panli leaned down, planting a quick kiss on his lips before adding, “Two minutes are up.”
