My Moon, Chapter 32.2 pg 2

Panli’s eyes scanned the small figure wearing an oversized T-shirt, with black shorts peeking out slightly from under the hem that extended past their hips. At that moment, he started to feel unsure…

“Li, how about we order food to eat at home instead?”

   “Why, puppy?”

“You don’t want others to see me dressed like this…”

Klaijai laughed heartily before saying, “Puppy, don’t be so possessive.”

The small figure spoke while standing on tiptoes to gain a bit of height, giving Panli a quick peck on the lips and flashing a sweet smile. Klaijai’s slender hand gently brushed his cheek before he walked out of the bathroom, leaving Panli standing there, sighing alone.

Panli feels like Klaijai’s charm grows stronger every day…

And it seems like he can’t keep up with Klaijai at all…

“What should we have for lunch, Li?”

“How about stir-fried squid with salted egg, steamed sea bass with lime, fried sea bass with fish sauce, and soft-shell crab with curry powder…” Panli paused, shifting his gaze from the menu in front of him to the person he loves sitting across from him, before asking, “KhunKlai, want to order anything else?”

Klaijai furrowed their brows while looking at the menu. “No more, puppy. Let’s stick with this for now, or we might not finish it.”

“Okay...” Panli nodded before turning to Ms. Jan, the resort manager. He said, “That’s all for now, Ms. Jan.”

   “Got it.”

But then, another of Klaijai’s favorite dishes popped into Panli’s head. He asked, “KhunKlai... no shrimp?”

“Yesterday, I just had some...” Klaijai pursed his thin lips, seemingly undecided, before saying, “...but I still wants some. Alright, let’s get grilled shrimp too.”

Panli nodded and turned to Ms. Jan. He said, “Then add grilled shrimp, Ms. Jan.”

   “Got it...”

“Get the biggest shrimp in the restaurant.”

   “Alright...”

“Puppy... no need for the biggest ones. Just medium size will do.”

Panli nodded at Klaijai again before looking at Ms. Jan. He said, “Then go with what my wife said.”

   “Puppy...”

“Yes... does you want to order anything else?” Panli shifted his gaze from the resort manager to his beloved, who called out softly. At first, he thought Klaijai wanted to add more food. But the faint blush on Klaijai’s cheeks made him furrow his brows in thought, and then Panli let out a smile as his own words echoed back in his mind.

“Then go with what my wife said.”

That sentence must have made Klaijai shy...

   “I... doesn’t want anything else.”

“Okay, KhunKlai...” Ms. Jan, who seemed to be suppressing a smile, responded. “...Would you like the rice in a bowl or on a plate?”

   “What does you think?”

“On a plate is fine, Ms. Jan.”

“Got it...” Ms. Jan jotted down the order on her tablet before asking, “...What drinks would you like?”

“I will have water. What about you, Puppy?”

Panli cleared his throat slightly, holding back a grin as a cheeky thought crossed his mind. If it were just him and Klaijai, he might’ve teased, “Puppy wants Klaijai’s water.” But Panli has enough manners and respect for his beloved to know when to say what.

   “Puppy will have water too.”

   “Got it... Li.”

   “...”

“Your food will be ready shortly. I’ve already sent the order to the kitchen,” Ms. Jan said.

      “Yes, khap.”

As Jan walked away, Klaijai pointed at Panli, narrowing his eyes as if trying to catch him out. He burst out laughing at Klaijai’s adorable expression.

   “What’s that, you little rascal?”

“Were you just thinking something naughty, Panli? …I know you.”

   “…”

What could Panli say to defend himself? He was indeed thinking something naughty, just as Klaijai said.

   “You little puppy…”

“Sorry, puppy apologizes,” Panli said, laughing.

Klaijai didn’t say anything. He just wrinkled his nose at Panli and gave a small smile.

While waiting for food, Panli and Klaijai chatted playfully like lovers do. Soon, the staff brought out dishes that filled the table. He spent some time enjoying lunch with Klaijai, then they strolled along the beach until the afternoon before heading back to the house.

Panli sat in front of the house with Klaijai and pulled out his phone to call Phii Fah to ask about afternoon plans. But Phii Dom, who was walking toward them, made him hang up on his brother.

“You two… where have you been all day?”

Panli smirked before saying, “Someone with a partner like you should know.”

   “Don’t tell me…”

“Not yet, Phii Dom,” Klaijai quickly answered.

Phii Dom tried to suppress a smile as he looked at his younger brother, whose face turned red with embarrassment up to his ears, before continuing…

“Uh… I just came to tell you that everyone’s gathering at Fah’s house. We’re about to play volleyball.”

Panli was just about to call Phii Fah to ask what they were doing this afternoon.

   “Oh…”

“Then KhunKlai and I will head over.”

“Okay…” Phii Dom nodded, then looked at his brother. “…I’ll go with Babe first. Klai, you can follow with Panli.”

“Yes, Phii Dom,” Klaijai replied, giving his brother a gentle smile.

   “I’m off. Babe’s waiting.”

Panli nodded in response to his senior before watching Phii Dom walk back to his own villa. He turned to the person beside him. Klaijai stood up and flashed him his usual sweet smile.

   Panli honestly…
