Pitbabe S2, Chapter 22 pg 4
My heart raced, even though I knew it shouldn’t.
Just “glad we met” made me feel like I was falling for him all over again.
“If I hadn’t seen you… today would’ve been so boring.”
Babe chuckled softly before everything came to a sudden halt. I started to feel a bit confused and bewildered when, out of nowhere, Babe got up from my lap and began adjusting his clothes.
“Babe…”
“Thanks for being my little bit of fun,” he said.
Babe turned and flashed me a wide grin before making a move to open the door, as if he’d suddenly lost all interest. And worse, he acted like he’d forgotten he’d tied me to the toilet.
“Wait… Babe!” I called out frantically as he opened the door and walked out of the bathroom, seemingly intent on leaving me like this. “Don’t mess around!”
“Messing around? I’m dead serious,” my wicked ex-boyfriend cackled, clearly delighted. The more I struggled to free my wrists from the tie, the more amused he looked. His attitude made me want to go back in time and smack myself hard. I knew he was here to seduce me, yet I didn’t bother to be cautious. I just followed my desires, convincing myself he must miss me or want me too, completely forgetting this was Pitbabe—my ex who now only wanted revenge.
“I told you, didn’t I? No matter what you do, I’ll ruin it all. You wanted connections today? Well, I’m making sure you don’t talk to anyone.”
“Babe!”
“Yell louder, go on. Maybe a crowd will come to see. That’d make some real buzz.”
“I’m not joking. Come untie me right now.”
“Untie yourself,” Babe said with a smug look. “You’ve got all that strength. This shouldn’t be too hard.”
It’s almost laughable. I’ve got all sorts of senses, but in a moment like this, none of them are useful. Just a single tie was enough to defeat me pathetically. Even my intuition, the one sense that’s usually the most helpful, was completely useless. Or maybe it tried to warn me, but I was too blinded by desire to notice. And now, here I am, stuck like this.
“Stay there and chill for a bit. I’ll come untie you when the event’s over.”
“Are you insane, Babe?”
“Bye-bye, handsome,” Babe waved casually before walking off without a care. My head was spinning, trying to figure out how to get out of this mess. I couldn’t just sit here like an idiot, but I couldn’t call for help either—not when I didn’t even have a free hand to grab my phone from my pocket. This was utterly pathetic. How did I let myself end up like this?
“Babe!”
There was no other choice.
“I give up!”
I took the risk and shouted, because that was the only option my foggy brain could come up with. If someone other than Babe heard me, I’d be in deep trouble. I’d probably have to find someone with memory-erasing powers to wipe the entire country’s memory. Because the news of Charlie being tied up and left in a mall bathroom would definitely go viral on social media for days.
“Give up what?”
I felt both thrilled and like I was losing my mind at the same time when I saw that the person showing up was Babe. He flashed a wide grin, his eyes sparkling with mischief, and his overly playful demeanor made me want to go completely nuts. But right now, I had no choice but to play along as his pawn, even if I wasn’t exactly thrilled about it.
“You untie me, and whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it.”
“For real?” Babe squinted at me suspiciously. “You pulling my leg?”
“Unless you order me to go die or something.”
“Why would I make you die? Where’s the fun in that?”
“Dunno, maybe it’d make you feel even more satisfied.”
“Talking nonsense.” Babe pursed his lips, then fell silent for a moment, his expression like he was mulling over something important. I just hoped it wasn’t some ridiculous stunt he wanted me to pull off. “Fine, I’ll untie you.”
“Then do it.”
“But you gotta do what I say.”
“Yeah, sure.”
“Answer properly, you little brat.”
“Fine, fine!” I replied lazily, annoyed. “What do you want me to do?”
Babe didn’t answer right away, but the smile creeping onto his face right then felt like a seriously bad omen.________________________________________
ALAN:
“…He’s back.”
I was just grumbling to Willy about how that Pitbabe had disappeared for ages. At first, I thought dragging him to the event would be the hard part, but if I could get him here, it’d be fine. Who would’ve thought that even after getting him to the event, I’d still have to babysit his behavior? I genuinely don’t know how old this kid has to be before he stops giving me headaches.
