Pitbabes2, Chapter 4 pg9

Charlie made it happen.
“What’s this?” I asked, but Charlie was too busy nuzzling my neck. “Did you do this?”
“It’s an illusion,” Charlie replied, moving his face up to kiss my cheek, then playfully nibbling as if he couldn’t get enough. “It’ll only last about fifteen minutes, so enjoy it while it’s here.”
Charlie had mentioned he could create illusions, but this was the first time I’d experienced it myself. It was incredibly realistic. It felt like I was truly there, in the place I’d imagined—a cozy Italian-style house. The wide window, just half an arm’s length away, was like a screen displaying the natural scenery outside: lush green trees, a deep blue sea, and a breeze making the light white curtains flutter. The last rays of sunlight streamed in, bathing the bedroom walls in a warmth that matched the heat of our bodies.
This wasn’t just a visual—it was everything I could perceive. I could hear the waves crashing against the shore, the distant calls of seagulls, the soft whistle of the breeze through the window. I could smell the salty sea air, the sun-baked earth, and the scent of trees and grass. Everything was so vivid it was hard to believe this was just in my mind.
“Do you… see the same thing I do?”
“No,” Charlie said softly. “Only you can see it, Babe.”
“It’s beautiful.”
“I’m glad you like it.”
The atmosphere around me was so romantic I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to keep holding this man, making him happy while basking in the fiery touch of his body. Our panting grew louder, faster, like the pounding in my chest. All I could hear was Charlie murmuring “Babe, Babe, Babe” in my ear, as if it were the only word he could say. The quickening rhythm made me hold him tighter. Even while splitting his focus to maintain the illusion, Charlie still performed flawlessly, until we reached the peak of our desire.
Both of us were panting heavily, our legs weak once the rush faded. I almost collapsed onto the floor, but Charlie caught me just in time, gently guiding us to sit down together.
“Gone yet?” Charlie asked, referring to the hallucination I’d seen.
“Not yet,” I shook my head slowly, meeting his gaze. I reached up to wipe the sweat from his temple, rewarding the guy who’d gone all out to please me tonight. “Papa, you didn’t even last fifteen minutes, though.”
“I’m drunk, okay? Don’t expect too much.”
I laughed, then leaned in to kiss his lips as a prize for his efforts.
“If the drug works, are you gonna destroy this stuff too?”
“Probably have to,” Charlie said with a smile. “Hallucinations aren’t exactly great. They wear me out more than usual, and seeing them too often or for too long isn’t good for mental health.”
“Hmm… still kinda a shame, though.”
“No need to feel that way. From now on, if you want to go somewhere or do something, I’ll take you to do it all. No more relying on hallucinations.”
“And ‘from now on’ means when?”
“After I wrap everything up.”
“I’ll be old by then.”
“No way,” Charlie chuckled, pulling me into a hug. He kissed my cheek repeatedly until I turned away, but the persistent guy kept at it. “It won’t be long. Soon I’ll have all the time in the world for Babe.”
“Better be true.”
“It is.”
Charlie’s tone grew serious as he said this. He looked into my eyes, brushing his thumb along my lower lip, teasing as if he’d slip it into my mouth but pulling back each time, like he was deliberately messing with me.
“Everything I do… it’s all for you.”
I understood why he said that. It’s just how Charlie is—always thinking of me in every decision he makes. That’s why I try to be understanding whenever he has to split his time with other things. Even though I want to be with him all the time, want to do so many things together, if I can’t fully support someone who’s always thinking of me, I’d be a pretty lousy boyfriend.
“Next time, it won’t just be a hallucination. I promise.”
“Alright, I’ll hold you to that.”
