The Next Prince, Special Chapter 4 pg4
“The day you will have your own perfect love.” Charan expresses congratulations but it seems like the white bodied house owner doesn’t take his words seriously, as evidenced by the giggle that escapes his lips.
“Maybe you might be the only one in the world to receive that.”
Even without turning to look at Charan, it’s clear that he is able to guess the speaker’s emotions. The gentle breeze blows, and Petai’s heavy emotions seem to expand in all directions, but it also seems like it’s not reaching someone out there...
“I’ll take my leave now.” They had been talking about this and that for hours. Ramil turns to his cousin, the young man who once didn’t like him at all, and still doesn’t for various reasons.
For one... because Khanin likes to act like he knows it all, like now for example.
“Rameng.”
He’s got a good natured love that’s maddening. Ramil glances over at the person with the strange title, then turns back to the conversation, thinking like a child.
“What do you want, Khana?”
Do you even want to tell him how you feel?”
...Khanin doesn’t explain anything else, and Ramil recognizes immediately that the other person is talking about someone.
“No one can know everything by themselves. No matter how smart they are.” The increasingly serious tone of the speaker makes Ramil think deeply, and the young man is lost in thought, but his familiarity still forces him to say something without thinking about it too much.
“I don’t believe that.”
“I know. Because you never speak more than necessary.”
“No one else would understand. Our relationship is difficult... It was difficult from the beginning.”
Khanin glances back at the handsome face of the young nephew before raising his hand to pat his wide shoulder lightly.
“My father... Tanattai... said that until we leave this world, we still have time to learn and improve. Everything has its time, and if something is wrong, we have to fix it. If the memories of the past aren’t good, let’s try to create new ones together.”
If it were a normal day, Ramil probably wouldn’t listen to Khanin, but from learning certain aspects of this person’s personality, he knew that the other party was much more confident and skilled in relationships, the type that couldn’t be compared to him...
“I already guessed.” Ramil didn’t respond to Khanin’s words, but chose to whisper about the arrival of a third person, abruptly signaling an end to their conversation, before Petai arrived at the table in the middle of the garden.
The son of the Ministry of Defense Minister asked as Ramil stood up in response.
“Oh, let’s change the subject.”
Congratulations again, Phii Ran, I take my leave, Your Majesty Young Prince Khanin.” A friendly smile was sent their way. Petai counted words while Khanin stood up and uttered a few words hoping to make it true in front of his conversational companion.
“Good luck to both of you.”
“Thank you very much.” They spoke a few more words before saying goodbye. Ramil and Petai said goodbye, the young man from the
Puchongpisut family walked towards the luxury car, but turned around once more before leaving.
“Congratulations again, Khanin.”
“Oh, I am waiting to say that to you too, Ramil.”
All the important guests have left. Charan and Khanin packed up their things and they invited each other to go bathe with, before sitting down in the living room to talk about everything that happened today at the center table.
Charan was in dark satin pajamas, his handsome face under frameless glasses showed a relaxed attitude, when he used his fingertips to follow the light strands of the younger man’s hair.
“Are you tired?”
“No, Phii Ran.” The handsome owner of the face asked back while blushing nervously, making the older man tighten his embrace tighter than before.
“...”
“Stay with me until morning.”
The soft murmuring whispered into his ear tempted his heart. Charan flinched his smile, thinking that every time Khanin acted smart, but when it came time to drop, he always liked to have him close.
“If you talk like this, I won’t be able to sleep.” Although he pretended to speak nonchalantly, the redness of his earlobes and cheeks showed the way.
Charan hugged the young man and spent time together until the clock struck midnight and the journey to the new day began...
“Phii ran knows that I am very happy today, don’t you?”
“How happy?” The tip of his nose touched and breathed in the scent of the sweet smelling body. Charan’s embrace tightened. As for the younger, he poked his thick chest as an indication of his feelings.
“This much.”
In the middle of the heart... meaning as happy as one heart can feel.
“You’re happy too, right?”
“And... I am also very happy, happy that from now on, I will be able to be with you every day. Just thinking about waking up and seeing Phii Ran’s face every day, not having to be far away from each other. I am also very happy.”
Charan didn’t see Khanin’s face as he spoke this sentence, but when he felt the younger person squeezing closer, the older one realized that the older person felt abnormal.
“Thinking of something?” He lifted his chin to meet his gaze.
Khanin let out a brief burst of laughter. His two tiered eyes avoided the light as he thought back to the difficult moments, and the poses made his heart throb.
